Sunday at The Farm

Xavier is letting me test drive his 2000 Saturn so I took advantage of adding miles to someone else's vehicle and drove up to see Amy. It was too hot upstairs and we decided to hunker down in her cool basement and chat about recent events. Both of us were disappointed that the shooter missed his target yesterday. We don't condone violence, but if anyone needs to stop existing, it's Voldemort. Oh how we hate that repulsive creature. We talked about Turkel's death (their fave turkey), Amy's husband Don's Squishmallow obsession, the four baby red squirrels that Don rescued from inside the wall at his mother's house, Lucy and her cuteness, plus the sad deaths of Richard Simmons, Dr. Ruth, and Shannen Doherty. All in just a couple days. Three hours soared past and the sun was setting, which meant time for this old broad to get on the road, but not before we got a selfie in the driveway. Amy is one wonderful gal and I am beyond lucky to have her for a BFF. I've been feeling unsettled, anxious, and extra stressed this whole week and time in her company was truly healing. She's like a female magi!
