Bring On Fall!!!

I genuinely NEED Krispy Kreme to get it together and start churning out some vegan doughnuts. These look super-crazy yummy, especially the Café Mocha.

Destination Doughs

If it were up to me, I'd have made a Belgian chocolate filled doughnie and then an Amalfi lemon filled, in honour of Positano. For the third...how about baklava flavoured with a filo dough top and stuffed with gooey bits of pistachio to make me think of traveling to Greece or Armenia. It's good to dream!!

Missing These So Bad...

While scrolling through my IG saved posts and deleting, I came across a review from 2020 about my all-time favourite store bought cookie - Trader Joe's Neapolitan Joe-Joe's. I miss them desperately and hope like hell they will bring them back, even if for one little season...

16 December 2017

Can't believe I never posted anything from this day! It was me and Jackson out Christmasing together, beginning with lunch at the old Heart Beet Kitchen, then to my place to relax & build our gingerbread house, then off to the house off Silverside to see their holiday lights. I love who Jackson has become, but I really do miss this little-boy-version of him a whole lot.

Look at five year old Jackson at my place reading one of my fave childhood Christmas books (The Gingerbears First Christmas) in the pink monster slippers I bought him that day. Adorable!!

This thing was inedible, by the way.
