Can't Let Go

In going through all the crap at my place I am trying like hell to part with things. One that I won't ever toss is my portable cassette tape holder from high school that used to belong to big brother Dave. The stickers were his and I added the lil' pink turtle, naturally. It still holds all of my old Idaho Potato mixtapes plus a couple random ones. Oh how I miss making mixes, on cassette and cd, for friends and crushes...

Amy in Greece!

Amy's jobbie sent her to Greece for ten whole days and she had the best time ever, despite two minor health-related inconveniences (being a woman can be pure hell!) and a cat attack (what the hell!?!). I loved that she kept me in the loop via texting photos and what not. I felt like I lived vicariously through her.

Bella in Louisiana!

Bella texted me the other day from the airport in Charlotte where she was getting a connecting flight into Louisiana. She was going to Shreveport, Baton Rouge, and New Orleans for work. I told her to take a photo on her travels and then text it to me with the message she would write on the back, were it a postcard.
