The Obsession Continues

I cannot get LP's version of Halo out of my head. I have seriously had it on repeat for close to two hours while driving. The other day I decided to once again Google and see if they are maybe touring in the States. (Last time I checked they were in Europe/Asia/far away.) Hot dog!! LP is coming to Philly in September! I freaked the fug out and ran, I tell you, ran into the next room to grab my credit card from my Edie Sedgwick wallet. I wanted to get the VIP option to watch LP's soundcheck, but it was over two hundred bucks a ticket. Nope - not in the financial cards for this gal. I decided on two general admission tickies and splurged for a fast pass so as not to wait in line on the big day. Cause if it's one of those hot days that crops up in late September, I do not want to be out of doors if I don't have to be. Total cost was under $150. A steal! An absolute steal. I had to wait until I knew Kayla would be awake before I texted her to see if she wanted to go with. (The utter hell of being a 911 dispatcher in the city of Philadelphia who is on a pager and has to fill in for people calling out "sick". This child has worked so many 18 hour shifts in a row that it defies logic.) Once she was awake, at 10pm, we FaceTimed and she said she'd do her best to request that day off. Fingers crossed!! A few days later one of my Finch challenges was to create a shared playlist. I haven't a clue what the hell that is, so I modified it to create a playlist and share. So I sent Kay my Best of LP playlist.

POST SCRIPT:
Tonight after Jackson's Grunge gig, we went to PA to one of the last remaining Bertucci's where I introduced him to the best Margherita pizza in the continental United States. While gabbing we paused and were equally shocked when we discovered that LP was playing. "And it's Lost on You!" declared Jackson. That's gotta mean something...
