Summer of Soul

Had the day off yesterday and decided to take myself to the matinee showing of Questlove's Summer of Soul at The Colonial Theatre. I love, love documentaries and this one was utterly sublime. Had me boppin' my head and tappin' my shoe to the music, all by myself up in the balcony. To travel back in time to 1969 and take part in the Harlem Cultural Festival would be an absolute dream.
