When I saw this takeoff on Enid Blyton's
Five on a Treasure Island, I just had to pick it up. Bella and I were in Bonkers (where we spent oodles on random cute cards and jewelry) in Edinburgh and they had a whole series of remakes on The Famous Five books. I was torn between this one and
Five Go Gluten Free, but in the end, I think I made the right decision.
Timmy was neutral, although if he had understood the variety of sausages available on the European mainland, that would have been a factor.
