Brown Butter Peach Cobbler

Tonight Bishop and I met up in Audubon for some LesbiVeggies. We finally tried the Coconut Curry Noodles, which were sublime, and at last, the Brown Butter Peach Cobbler! It was utterly divine and we already can't wait to go back again to have another go 'round.

I should note that I am well aware that slavery still exists in this world, that many people are persecuted for their religious beliefs, that infinite number of rapes go unpunished, that there are still humans (women and often children) that are forced into marriage, the female sex is still not totally equal, many parts of the world are suffering with plagues and famines, and humans most likely never existed with dinosaurs, but this is a fucking silly game and I wrote the first things that came to mind! And frankly, I am still grateful that I was never alive to co-exist with velociraptors or have to use a "whites only" bathroom. So there.

More of The Colonial Theatre

I've been to a lot of movie theatres in a lot of cities around the world but nothing comes close to The Colonial and just how much I adore this place. 

Bonus: Ha! They have a cardboard cut out of The Blob to pose with - hilarious!

B.F.F. Journal

Here is yet another fill-in book that I bought back in the day. This one was all about my BFF, but I decided to make it about all my closest and bestest pals, not just the one holding the number one spot since 1978. For the page about how we first met, I chose Fr. Michael. He was a really good friend to me then, and even though things went a bit south and we are no longer in contact, I do think of him nearly every day and always fondly. I feel like one day we may just reconnect. Who knows?!

Our Day In Bruges

The last time I travelled abroad was April of 2019. Xavier and I spend an afternoon in Bruges that was pretty disappointing. But, like anything, I can snap photos of random things and look back with a sense of joy and accomplishment.
