On our visit to Orchard House we were not permitted to take photos, which is okay, but I was super disappointed that the painting of Louisa May Alcott by George Peter Alexander Healy wasn't available on a postcard in the gift shop. LMA might have detested the portrait, but I loved it. So I went through the tour, which really was fascinating, and tried to just soak up the moment. Natalia was a naughty girl and snuck (sneaked?) in a few opportunities to snap some pix (none with flash of course). They turned out really well and I wanted to share them.
