I remember being in Ireland just after they repealed the 8th amendment so as to legalise abortions and protect women's rights to their bodies. There was such a sense of joy in Dublin, with Repeal the 8th stickers on windows, doors, t-shirts, pins, and street art, all showing their support. Abortion is such a dividing issue, especially with those crazy religious maniacs, and it felt good to see people of all ages, beliefs, and genders support the repeal. This film made me angry at all the people who didn't even attempt to understand why someone would need or want an abortion. They blindly believed it was wrong because someone told them it was and they refused to see reason. It was infuriating, but in the end, justice was served.
