This movie left me in a state of melancholy. Colin Farrell's performance was so heartbreaking that I was in tears for the last three quarters of it. It was a beautiful film that looked gorgeous and had wonderful actors, but Farrell's eyebrows tore my heart out. He was in a constant state of despair and his expressions undid me. Not sure I'll see this again, but glad that I took my afternoon and evening and drove on out to The Colonial Theatre to sit up in the balcony with several tissues to help me through it.
