The Laze

The first James Bond film I saw from start to finish was On Her Majesty's Secret Service back in the mid-1990s. John Palumbo had told me that his major crush during his teen years was Diana Rigg. Never having heard of her at age nineteen, I went to B&C Video in my hometown and asked for something that starred Ms Rigg. Chris handed me the VHS copy they had and On Her Majesty's Secret Service instantly became one of my faves, mainly because of George Lazenby's performance as Bond. I've seen nearly all of the Bond movies but this one is the best (Casino Royale comes in a tight second place, though). I recently got a chance to watch the Hulu documentary Becoming Bond, which provided excellent insight into Lazenby's life before and after Bond. He's still a total dreamboat and seems like a genuinely good guy. Isn't that nice? When celebs you like turn out to be really nice? I love that.
