Grounds for Sculpture I

This afternoon I was able to go to Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton with my mum and our dear friend Terri. It was hotter than the surface of the sun outside, but we managed to hang in there and see a decent amount of sculptures. The primary goal for the day, though, was to see the Keith Haring exhibit, since he is my all-time favourite artist. (More on that portion of the trip in future posts.) For now, I'd like to share some photos I took of some of the pieces that spoke loudest to me.

Ekaterina Harrison - Mirage 1996

Martha Pettigrew - Gossip 2001

Alexander Liberman - Entwined III 1987

Leonda Finke - Seated Figure from Women in the Sun 1988

George Segal - Depression Bread Line 1999
