Passed Down

Mama Rosie has been clearing out the old house (Aunt Berne and my cousin Alina moved to a swanky new place!) and she was getting rid of a lot of Godmommy Gina's possessions. One of the ones I snapped up was a lovely copy of the works of Lord Tennyson which belonged to my Granny Roseanna before she was married. According to the note on the flyleaf, the book first belonged to a Mrs. Tochtermann. After she passed away, her husband gave it to Granny Roseanna who claimed that it was her pride and joy. I have to agree that it is simply gorgeous.
