I was going through some old folders that were saved on the computer and came across these from September 18, 2011. Karen, Anne, Heather, April, and I all worked together in the early to mid aughts at a book store/café. Every other month or so we would meet up at a local diner or at Karen's home for chit chat, cigarette smoking, and a bit of tomfoolery. Slowly we stopped getting together because Anne and I were the only ones reaching out to set up the get-togethers and we got tired of things being one (or two) sided. I'm fine with that, but I really miss Karen and just hope that she's doing well and is happy.
