On really rotten days, the kind where you don't feel like getting out of bed or showering or even breathing, the days when everything that you've managed to hold together and keep on moving forward suddenly collapses and crushes you like an avalanche, on days like this, I try to think of this passage and sometimes, if I'm really lucky, I can breathe again and not feel so overwhelmed by the misery that creeps in every so often.
