Okay, so I can think of oodles of things more important than an unread library, but clearly Mr. Waters was exaggerating. Even so, reading this made me feel so much less guilty about the dozens and dozens of books that I've had for years and never even cracked the spine. But there's always that wonderful word: someday. This little row of unread books is first on my list for "Read Next!"

Big Fat Obsession

In my YouTubing search for all things Greg Davies (still) I stumbled upon a hilariously delightful game show called The Big Fat Quiz of the Year. Like nearly all things from across the pond, it's addictive and refreshingly fun. I started with the episode from 2015 and worked my way through as many episodes as I could find. My favourite guest panelists were Micky Flanagan, Miranda Hart, and Kristen Schaal. Oh my goodness, how I so love all three of them! Even Eddie Izzard was on once! What a fabulous surprise that was. Of the regulars, I quickly discovered that Rob Brydon is an absolute riot as is David Walliams, David Mitchell, and of course, Noel Fielding, who I only knew from The IT Crowd. Richard Ayoade, again, who I knew previously from IT Crowd, and from his film Submarine, won my heart with his incredibly zany dead pan humour. He really is just the coolest cat on the planet. The other night I fell asleep daydreaming of one day being so famous that I could be a guest panelist...oh man, wouldn't that just be the best thing ever? 

Bloom's Hotel

This hotel in Dublin was fabulous on the outside and I'm betting it's just as funky and colourful on the inside. I was too shy to go in and find out though....

Good 'n' Crabby

It does not escape me that this is a truly and agonizingly boring post, but I honestly don't care. I was flipping through the pages of my Happy Book and thought, "this is a seriously adorable crab drawing that I did and I am gonna take a really crappy photo of it and post it on my blog that no one gives a toss about." And so I have!

Gorgeous Must-Have Footwear

Damn them for not having a size 9!!! Aren't these beauties just divinely perfect? Oh yeah, that's right. I dropped a religious pun. Boom!

Fire Camp 2017

Mid-August Kayla went to Philadelphia's first annual all female Fire Safety Summer Camp. She had a fantastic week, made loads of new gal pals, and has decided 100% that she is going to be a firefighter when she graduates from high school. This lady never ceases to impress me with her strength of character and her determination. I'm so very proud of her in everything that she does.
