Edie Falco
This woman is just lovely. Her bone structure is gorgeous. I've admired her since she starred as Brendan Sexton III's mother in Hurricane Streets back in '97 and I've never been disappointed in her work since. She's awesome.

The English Patient
Watching this film I always sit in stillness while the credits scroll past and wonder to myself if such a passionate, deep love like the one depicted exists outside of storybooks, film, and one's daydreams.

Wishing for...
Winter. The snow, the hot cocoa, the holiday lights on houses by the lake, and of course my heater breaking again
and thus forcing me to huddle beneath a mountain of Tweety Bird,
unicorn and Mom-made quilts and blankets. Not to mention that I get to
rock out in my fab pink cheetah faux fur coat. I'm so done with these
insanely hot Jersey summer days.
(and no bugs! no more spiders or flies or anything else to scare the crap out of me at 2am when i turn on the bathroom light.)

Ah, board games...
I spent many a Saturday afternoon in my childhood playing Gambler and Clue with my brothers and cousins. And Sorry! was always the go-to game in our neighbourhood when the weather was inclement and we all had to retreat indoors. Cranium is the new fave among my adult pals, but whenever the kids come to visit, it always warms my heart when they say, "Can we play Gambler?? Pleeeease..." The answer is always yes.

Name Your Band
At my old job I would pose a new question each day and send it 'round through Sametime/Instant Messenger. One of them was What name would you give to a band that you formed and what type of music would you play? Lauryn had a great name for a Jam Band - Cutthroat Chickens, while Josh's country band, Tomorrow's Promise was equally original. Oh, and Patty had just split up with her boyfriend, so she chose Paul is a Loser for her alternative band. I think mine was the best: The Huntington Frauds. Oh, and we played kick ass jazz.
