busting to sing out loud. Regardless of the dull crowd and no singing, it was a spectacular print of the film and we had a total blast.

The Blues Brothers!!
Since the early 1980s Amy and I have been obsessed with all things Blues Brothers. Amy liked Elwood best, whereas I was Team Jake all the way. Whenever we had sleepovers at Amy's we would watch the edited for television version that they had on VHS over and over. We listened to her parents' Blues Brothers albums and memorised every song plus every moment in the film. When we went to The Colonial Theatre to see White Christmas in 2021 Amy asked the box office when they were gonna show The Blues Brothers. Finally they came to their senses and tonight we saw the 45th anniversary 7pm showing in the White Rabbit theatre. Why they didn't run it in the old 1903 theatre is a mystery because it was a sold out show with every seat filled and even someone sitting on the steps of the aisle. Amy and I were busting out laughing and cheering along the whole time and inexplicably, I was the only one to woooooo! when Belushi's name and face appeared in the opening credits. (Clearly the crowd was a bunch of uptight honkies.) Amy was disappointed that it wasn't a sing-a-long version; she was absolutely
