This album had been sitting in my Amazon cart for ages and reached the point where I had forgotten who this person was and why I wanted to purchase their album. I finally treated myself at the beginning of the month and it's pretty much remained on repeat ever since. Just a completely mystical and album that kind of sweeps you away.

A whole page jam packed with tons of random puffy stickers. Oh it's so 80s!! Smurfs, Donkey Kong, Barbie, Ziggy & Fuzz, Pink Panther, Super Mario, Pac Man, and Raspberry Tart from Strawberry Shortcake.

Fancy schmancy oil stickers that moved when you pressed on them. We were so easy to please in our youth....

The pupper page!! Snoopy and Pound Puppies and Sandy from Annie plus real dogs and some poodle called Ribbons that I do not remember at all! (It should be noted that the Sandy sticker was actually the first thing I ever stole in my whole life. I took it from Melissa Grassiosi's Annie album and still feel guilty about it all these years later.)

Visionary Shoes

I had this interesting and mildly creepy idea to photograph the shoes of people who are at the museums that I visit. Ever since I was a kid in church on Sundays I would look at people's shoes as they walked up for Communion and try to figure out what kind of person they were, based solely on their footwear. When I took these pictures at The Visionary Arts Museum in Baltimore, Maryland I noticed that everyone was very blue-collar. I like knowing that the everyday sorta person is still interesting in art and culture, that it's not something reserved for only the upper class. I mean, they may buy art, but at least us working class folk can appreciate it without emptying our piggy banks.

Last night Kim and I met up at the usual place and finally got a chance to chat about travel. The lucky duck is going to Positano in July and I'm half jealous as Hell and half super-excited for her. She's gonna love it.

Portland Posties

Look what I got last night from Melissa in Portland! We work together, but have never met. I'm not super chatty on IM when I'm at work, so to keep in touch with coworkers I never see, I like to send postcards and holiday cards. Getting a lil batch of posties all for me was a HUGE treat!
