Postie for Me!

Look what lovely, sweet Helen Coldwell sent to me, all the way from England!

post script - September 2023:

Some MONSTER actually cut down the beautiful Sycamore Gap tree at Hadrian's Wall. I saw the news and instantly reached out to Helen:

Curved Street LaRue

Delaware Art Museum

Spent the morning and into the afternoon at the Delaware Art Museum with Anne. It is located in a beautiful area of Wilmington and has fast become by favourite museum in the Tri-State area. Not too busy, loads of fabulous art and the best bit? Everyone we met - employees and other patrons alike - were super, crazy nice. It was a fantastic experience.

William Henry Millais - James Wyatt and his granddaughter, Mary - 1850

Dante Gabriel Rossetti - Veronica Veronese - 1872

Robert Wallace Martin - Tobacco Jar in the Form of a Grotesque - c. 1890

Edward Hopper - Summertime - 1943

Raymond Hood (designer) & Rene Paul Chambellin (maker) - Art Deco Elevator Door Panels - c. 1931

Gift shop goodies!! I showed mild restraint and did not buy everything I wanted.

Jay Heights

I drove up to NY for the day to spend some time with Marina and Mateo. We kept it low-key and just talked, did some laundry, and watched Trolls, which was adorable. Then after a quick bite to eat at a local Colombian cafe, Marina took me with her to Bushwick to show an apartment that she is renting. Then I got to see her office and head back to Jersey before midnight to get in my last thirty minute wii fit session of the day which brought my total to (drumroll....) one thousand hours!

Bishop Playlists Just For Me!

A while back Bishop sent me several bad ass playlists for my travels. I think it's finally time I loaded them on my iPod and took them along on my next big adventure across the Atlantic! (I will most certainly be leaving out Robin Thicke. That's one that Bish and I totally disagree on. I think he's a creep but Bishop can't get enough of his purty puss. Bleck! No thank you.)
