Tiny Tubbie

I'm a gal that loves her baths. That being said, I've been searching for a decent tub for my ideal Tiny House and I believe I've found it! Is that just adorable or what? I think this bathroom is unbelievably charming.

Downton Abbey to Hit the Big Screen

Clearly Pax and I are super excited about the upcoming Downton Abbey film. On Sunday I jokingly asked Bishop, "So, ya gonna see the Downton Abbey movie with us in September?" His reply? "Only if there's mutants in it."

The Rainbow Comes and Goes

What a fantastic book. The audio version, read by Gloria Vanderbilt with son, Anderson Cooper, is so good that I found myself driving around aimlessly, not wanting to arrive home and turn in for the night. What a remarkable woman and I'm thoroughly enjoying her telling me of the twists and turns that her life has taken. She may have written it to her son, but listening to her, it's as though she is speaking directly to me. I already have her novel, Obsession, which she reads as well, in my Hoopla Favorites for later this month. Stay tuned for more on that!

Bella in Bellbottoms

Time for me to shed some el-bees and dig out my old bells. I picked up Isabella today and was thrilled to see that the 90s are back! Buh-bye skinny jeans...I'll be wearing my vintage bellbottoms real soon!

And I'm including, for myself to re-read some far off day in the future, the text messages between Bella and I. 

She wrote to tell me to drive safe and made my heart ache with love when I read the words "You're my person." It still amazes me that I have so many extraordinary nieces and nephews and that a great number of them have become dear, dear friends. I am a truly lucky lady.

Natalia's Bday!

My birthday card for my Gemini twin arrived on her actual birthday and I couldn't have been happier to receive her text this afternoon. (My card is the green one with the stars, of course!)
