While walking down 5th in New York with Kim in December I kinda freaked out and shouted "OH MY GOD IT'S A TOYNBEE TILE!!!!!" Thankfully I got a chance to snap these photos when the light was red.

So happy to get graduation pix of my sweet and wonderful Kayla, however, did that broad seriously call me a senior citizen??

She's lucky that I adore her and that I know she has a wicked side to her humor. 

(post script - Sunday November 10th, 2024, Kayla and I were out and she told me that she finally remembered, after six years, that she was referring to herself as a true senior  in this note, not me. Ha! I love that she felt the need to clear it up and let me know that she absolutely didn't even joke about how old I am. What a stinkin' cutie-pie she is.)

Lauryn's Vibrant New 'do

This particularly sunny afternoon, Lauryn and I met up for lunch and girl talk at Heart Beet Kitchen and I got to see her latest hair colour. I absolutely love it and she looks even more fab than ever!

The Museum of Sex in New York was really fun and I even managed to capture some shoe pix while wandering through the exhibits.

Queer Eye Reboot

So I had serious doubts about this new series but I scored overtime at work and put it on in the background. It's as good as the original and made me weepy through each episode. The gents are all caring and fun (even though Jonathan uses the word "like" far too often for my taste) and while I don't like the "tear-down" section of make-over shows (you know, where they poke fun at the person's style or living space or wardrobe) it was really great to see the effect that the Fab Five and the gentleman in question had on one another. It's a show that leaves you with a whole lot of feel-goodery and I'm already looking forward to another season!
