* Mystery of the Moss Covered Mansion by Carolyn Keene - This one was kind of cool because it took place in Florida near NASA headquarters during the Apollo 11 mission. Nancy, Ned, George, and Bess were all visiting the South to help solve yet another mystery.
♥ Dragon's Halloween by Dav Pilkey - Dragon is so cuuuuute!!!
Good Night Thoughts by Max Greenfield
* It's Halloween, I'm Turning Green ¹ by Dan Gutman - This one I listened to with Lucy, trying to convince her that you have to read scary books in October, even if they are only silly, scary books. She really liked listening to this as we drove around together.
♥ Vincent Price: A Daughter's Biography ¹ by Victoria Price - I cheated and listened to the audiobook version. It was excellent and so well researched. The only thing that would have made it pure perfection was if Ms. Price had done the narration.
♥ A Super Scary Narwhalloween by Ben Clanton - I'm obsessed with this new (to me, at least) series!
♥ How Spider Saved Halloween by Robert Kraus
* Follow Me Halloween by Ellie Boultwood, Penny Worms, and Kylie Hamley - illustrated by Steve Wood
* The Berenstain Bears Trick or Treat by Stan and Jan Berenstain
♥ Vlad the Fabulous Vampire by Flavia Z. Drago
* The Hallo-Wiener by Dav Pilkey
* Gus Was A Friendly Ghost by Jane Thayer
♥ There's a Zombie in My Bathtub ¹ by Henry Winkler and Lin Oliver
* Gustavo the Shy Ghost by Flavia Z. Drago
* Leila The Perfect Witch by Flavia Z. Drago
* Trick or Treat on Scary Street by Lance Bass
* Skeleton for Dinner by Margery Cuyler
♥ ‘Salem’s Lot ¹ by Stephen King
* The Quest of the Missing Map by Carolyn Keene
* The Crayons Trick or Treat by Drew Drywalt and Oliver Teffers
* Halloween is Coming by Cal Everett and Lenny Wen - This turned out to be one of my favourties of the month. A new book for me that had sweet illustrations and a lovely story. Simple and wonderful.
*
Witch Cat by
Rowena Bastin Bennett - This story comes from my brother Dave's old textbook from, I think, first grade. The good ole
Boxcars and Bottle Caps book!
* Vampires Don’t Wear Polka Dots ¹ by Debbie Dadey and Marcia Thornton Jones - This was a fun series to discover, and they have so many books! This month I focused only on the spooky titles.
* The Berenstain Bears and the Ghost of the Forest by Stand & Jan Berenstain
Ghosts Don’t Eat Potato Chips ¹ by Debbie Dadey and Marcia Thornton Jones
* The House That Drac Built by Judy Sierra
Poison for Breakfast ¹ by Lemony Snicket- Listening to this audiobook that was less of a story and more a rigamarole of philosophy and life, all I could think, over and over, was "I am too dumb to understand this."
Tilly Witch by Don Freeman
* Dracula Doesn't Drink Lemonade ¹ by Debbie Dadey and Marcia Thornton Jones
* Clifford's Halloween by Norman Bridwell
♥ The Exorcist ¹ by William Peter Blatty
¹ - audiobook
² - abridged version

Any unmarked titles were, in my opinion, so-so.
