A place to reminisce about the good things that life offers, especially those insignificant moments that tend to be overlooked.

Ebony and Ivory
Oh my gosh, this photo still cracks me up. Back in July of 2011, I worked in, no lie, a utility closet in a building in Delaware in a horrible part of town. There were about eleven tiny cubbies in there (the "desk" was about 2.5' x 2.5' - barely room for the laptop and phone and mousepad) and zero windows, since it was a closet. Eventually we got moved to a different part of the state and in to a high tech, fancy schmancy building. We'd moved on up, baby! Since we all had started together in such close quarters, the whole gang became pretty tight. This photo is of a co-worker, who was Italian and all about that Summertime tan, and me, Scotch-Irish-German, living the life of a low-class vampire, sporting virtually translucent skin. When Lo and I realised that not only were we of the same ethnic race but entirely different shades, but that our feet were alarmingly similar, I had to capture the moment. I still can't believe we put our bare feet on that disgusting carpet. Anyway, every so often Lo and I message eachother and this photo comes up from time to time because it just makes us laugh like hell. It's ridiculous.
