Miss Lucy was wiped out by the time we got back to Nana Rose's, so she skipped out on the last two deliveries for today. Jax and I stopped to visit a bit with Aunt Berne and then dropped by Bishop's. So far so good, this year, and here's hoping tomorrow is just as fun!
A place to reminisce about the good things that life offers, especially those insignificant moments that tend to be overlooked.

Books & Cooks Tour 2024
This year’s tour kicked off today with Jackson joining me and Lucy. Since Amy's farm is a two and a half hour drive up north, we only got to deliver cookies to her, then later just Jax and I dropped cookies to Aunt Berne and Bishop. (Lucy was wiped out.) The kids enjoyed the fries that Don made but the highlight was holding the baby bunnies. Jackson fell in love with Potato, Lucy held Rumplestumple (the bunny without a tail) and she and Jackson named the white bunny that Amy had - Snowball. We collectively agree that while visiting the farm is a blast, next year, I'll deliver Amy's cookies and that way we can skip the five hour drive and hang out locally.
