The Wreckage of My Presence
Bishop texted me yesterday with, "Are you reading Casey Wilson's book?" Um...no. I had no clue that one of our favourite ladies of comedy wrote a book. I immediately hoofed it on over to Audible and saw that it was a collection of essays and Casey narrates. Her-lo? Like, yeah, I'm toad-ally gonna buy the audiobook and hit play. I spent my whole day at work today listening, laughing, tearing up, and feeling so good to have listened to a fantastic book after a couple disappointments in a row. Casey isn't for everyone, but I love her zaniness and it made for a wonderful Friday. Or should I say, Fri-yay. Uh, huh, yeah, I took it there. (Okay, that's the end of my Casey Wilson impression.)
