Showing Off Dublin

Today we slept a little late then were out the door a bit before two o'clock. We stopped at Carroll's on O'Connell so Xave could grab some souvenirs for the kids and the in-laws, then to An Post to show off the gorgeous post office, cross over the Liffey, check out Temple Bar and Love Lane to find ourselves at The Stag's Head. Xavier got the best fish and chips ever, including the mashed pea dip that he actually loved, and his first Guinness in Ireland! Next we got some takeaway for me at (where else) Blazing Salads, then over to Hodges Figgis (David Walliams books for me!) and Leonida's for chocolates. The best in the universe. We started back to SLP, stopping at Turk's Head for another beer and home to watch Deadpool and Arthur and George until we crashed out at 11pm.
