I just finished Maybe the Moon and I loved everything up until the very end. The end was awful and a let down. However, I really adored the character of Cadence Roth (who was based on the actress Tamara De Treaux) and would love to see a film version of this made. It's a story packed with incredible characters with great stories and interesting lives; lots of humour and some heartache. All in all I would recommend reading it and then stopping when it reaches The Director's Letter. Do not read past it. It will only leave you feeling bitter, angry, and very, very sad.
