Here are my top ten favourite films of a multifaceted performer who first swept me off my feet when he played Colonel Brandon back in '95. (God, he was wonderful.) Oh, and if you haven't had a chance to see Snow Cake, please check it out. Great performances by all and a unique story. Definitely my fave of Alan Rickman's films. It's so sad to think that he's left the earth and taken his gorgeous voice with him...
Snow Cake
Sense and Sensibility
Galaxy Quest
Perfume
Bottle Shock
Something the Lord Made
Die Hard
Harry Potter & the Sorcerer's Stone
Love Actually
A Little Chaos

A terrible loss in this year of terrible losses.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen SNOW CAKE but you know I will soon! Also, a very beautiful Alan Rickman film that he isn't in but directed was THE WINTER GUEST with Emma Thompson and her mum Phyllida Law - a must see if you haven't.
I've always meant to see "The Winter Guest" - I'm adding it to my queue right this minute!
