That is so weird - I was just trying to convince Bishop to do the Camino de Santiago with me! After seeing "The Way" I've been kind of obsessed with the idea of just going for it. I think it'd be an incredible experience.
No way! I didn't know you were obsessed with the Camino as well! I got obsessed with the Camino about a year and a half ago!!! Of course, at my advanced age you'll have to push me in my wheelchair. You OK with dat???
Oh yes, that's what started me on my obsession when the film was recommended to me by Weaverman in England. It was released over there before it was on DVD over here (typical!). And then, of course, I read "TO THE FIELD OF STARS" along the same time I read Sterling Hayden's WANDERER and they both became two of my favourite books!
Oh.....and don't forget to keep an eye on your mailbox.... ;)

ReplyDeleteI don't know if the Camino is wheelchair accessible...I'll have to research that...Did you ever see "The Way" with Martin Sheen?? I loved it.
