  1. Don't you love how they used to have the B-side of a 45 as the instrumental version of the A-side. Ah, the 80s had it going on. One of my favourite examples of that is my 45 of Culture Club's Time (Clock of the Heart) with the instrumental version on the B-side . . . and it's spectacular as an instrumental. So is David Bowie's This Is Not America 45 with the instrumental on the back. Of course the instrumental is all Pat Metheny though since that's who did the music for that great song.
