English Supper

Tonight at Anne's we feasted on the most delicious vegetarian English supper ever! Anne made us Yorkshire pudding (out of this world), yummy veggies for the main course and then the most incredible dessert - Homemade Sticky Toffee Pudding. We gorged ourselves until each and every one of us fell victim to a bad case of the Itis. But it was so worth it!

  1. What the bleedin' hell does Anne know about English food! I mean really, she. . .

. . .did you say sticky toffee pudding?!?!?!?!!!!!

I shall now retreat to the corner and sulk in steamy hatred.

  2. the above photos are rudimentary and do not do justice to the spectacular meal that anne served. it was nothing short of divine and two days later, i'm still stuffed! the sticky toffee pudding was akin to angels' wings brushing past my cheek. thee best dessert this side of the atlantic.

  3. Don't be so sure. They're splendid enough to conjure green-eyed jealousy so I'd say they's pretty good pixtures.

  5. Us english folks are still missing Anne's cooking... Im feasting my eyes instead. I know dyed-in-t'wool yorkshire lasses who couldn't achieve such perfect golden yorkshire puds.
